Product Details

To make our smoked shiitake salt, we start by smoking our log-grown shiitake. Then we dry and powder them, and mix the powder with untreated sea salt.

You can sprinkle it on a fried or poached egg, cheesy grits, or deviled eggs! You can also use it as a rub for beef or pork roasts, or give dishes an extra depth of smoky flavor by adding to pasta sauces, meatloaf, soups and stews, risotto or other rice dishes.

This product is certified organic by MOSA

Our prices include a small credit card processing fee. If you live near the Twin Cities you can always stop by our booth at Mill City Farmers Market to purchase items in cash and avoid the fees.
